Code Day & Code Week

The Code IoT team promotes, periodically, free and open training days, in person and at a distance, for teachers and educators on the topic of Internet of Things.

Who can participate?

Teachers from Elementary, Secondary or Technical Education from Public Schools, as well as NGO educators may participate.

150 spots will be opened per Code Day. In case of remaining spots, teachers from private schools will be able to participate.

Trainings 2021

In 2021, two Code Day training courses will be offered.

  • Code Day Scratch – Saturday, September 25th, 2021, 14h00-17h00 (GMT-3)
  • Code Day Arduino – Saturday, October, 23rd, 2021, 14h00-17h00 (GMT-3)

Times correspond to Brasilia time

How to apply?

Just fill in your details in the form and wait for confirmation of participation that will be sent by email.

You will need to upload proof of teaching.

It is necessary to have a computer with Internet access to follow the training activities.

Certification

The teacher or educator who participates in one of the Code Day trainings and submits at least one practice report with students by November 30th, 2021, will receive a 16-hour training certificate.

The teacher who participates in one of the Code Day trainings and does not send the practice report will receive the 8-hour training certificate.

Certificates will be issued in December 2021 and forwarded by email.

What happens after training?

At the end of the training, participants will be able to interact through a discussion board, they will be guided to plan and conduct practical activities with their students and then send their reports of practice.

History

Since 2017, 21 Code Days have been held in person in the cities of São Paulo and Manaus and 4 Code Weeks were held online
